United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Firenze Red
My new un

Morning all, A while ago after listening to a few people who had purchased/driven the replacement for the FL2 I decided to try and buy one of the last ones, probably my last LR as I hate the way the styling is going. After owning a FL1 Td4 HSE and a FL2 Td4 both in Black I decided to put a search on a well known web site, not holding my breath. Almost 6 months (last April) later I got a message about the search and this beauty showed it's self, 13 plate, one owner, 18k on the clock, Sd4 HSE, leather, all the toys inc heated steering wheel, plus detachable tow bar, which I need for the caravan. needless to say the deal was done almost immediately. Happy? You bet.

I disagree ........ poor colour ......each to their own.

At least you don't have to worry about 'residual color loss' as they call it in the US.
This is when a vehicle is purchased new and the second hand value, on Trade-in, is lower due to the colour of the vehicle.

When the 'pool' of Freelanders is so vast, most new owners would look for a conservative colour.

Enjoy your vehicle anyway .......... when being driven, you don't see much of the colour anyway. Laughing

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Mauritius Blue

I like the colour, Its what I wanted when I was buying, but couldn't find one in the spec I wanted.

I ended up with with a Malicious Blue one. Not my first choice of colour, but by the time I move it on the residuals will have flattened out.

Enjoy your motoring. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Loire Blue

Remember on FL1's how the two door soft top versions were available in "fun" colours and names like Serengeti but the 4 door were more "normal" ? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

Hey, that’s just like my last FL2! Very Happy It’s hard to find something from LR that still looks right, even my current RR is a bit marginal.

Your new motor looks very nice indeed Thumbs Up

Don’t forget to update your vehicle details for the site.

Super colour that I've had two now and would always look for Firenze Red.

Stands out from the crowd Thumbs Up If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Fuji White

It took me about a year to find mine on Autotrader website.

I think it was well worth the wait, this Land Rover model (FL2) will become a classic, as LR move away from it's original styling. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 74k+ miles) (MY2015)

Excellent colour choice but then i`m biased as its the same as mine! Thumbs Up On the odd occasion I wash mine I am always very impressed with how good it looks when it`s shiny and say to myself I must try and keep it looking shiny but that rarely happens! Laughing

Best colour out there for a freelander, if I couldn’t get it in red when I bought the car new I probably won’t have bought a freelander as all the other colours are boring. Mine only has 23k on it , when cleaned and polished inside and out it’s a stunning car and colour.
I was after an Epsom green until the salesman showed us a defender in Epsom , boy did it look crap . Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!
