I don't mind the shape of them, but it suddenly struck me, because the shape is not symmetrical, ie each side of the spokes is different to the other side, this in effect means one side of the cars wheels rotate the opposite way to the others, if you see what I mean,

maybe I am a perfectionist, but it doesn't look right , I could be the only one who cares ?

You don't mind the shape of them.... ??? so your quite happy for them to be round then ?

Those alloys are 40mm offset ........ so much much wider than your current alloys.

The headline on the ebay ad says 19" but the detail says 18" ? Furthermore no mention of tyre tread depth. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

I've seen loads of "assymetric" wheels over the years, particularly on some of the old sporty Fords, XR3i for example, some of these have what you might call a "Z" or "diagonal" spoke design where the spokes appear to be leaning forward on one side and backward on the other, it seems a bit odd in principle but looks OK on the car, especially since you can only see one side of the car at a time.

You mean we don't all align the centre cap badge with the tyre valve

anyone know what these alloys are called? I think they were mainly on the HST car, I would prefer 19" but I have seen a set of 5 x 18" for £200 !

Freelander 1 18” sport alloy it won’t fit the FL2 I’ve got them on my FL1
