Bump stop? Near side shock absorber

I replaced the nearside shock absorber. While removing the bump stop from the old spring assembly the nut on the rubber bump stop broke off.
Im looking for a replacement but cant find. Im not sure what it bumps against - the body? Where can i get a new one?
Regards

Easy enough to work out what it bumps against and how it all hangs together . Just look at the other side as I assume its still as built.

Then ask Dan at Duckworth Parts for a price of any parts needed. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Ha Ha I laugh because I did have a look at the time - yes, the driver's side one is different ... afraid I can't be bothered to go outside in the cold and dark to photograph it - but it is - both my brother and I had a look and were perplexed ...
Here's a couple photos of the near side one - in situ on the right hand side of the shock photo, and after it came off .
Thanks

If you are talking about the lump of rubber and steel hanging from the lower spring seat do not worry to much. This is a 'mass damper' fitted to try and help cure a noise issue from the rear strut assembly.

Wow - how do you know such a thing ..?

Thank you - it was perplexing me. There is one on the driver's side it turns out (managed to get a good look yesterday while the diff was being changed) but it's on the front side of the spring seat - very close to the body, so I thought maybe it was a bump stop for that but couldn't be for lots of reasons.

Thank you for solving this mystery. If I ever get a noise issue, where would I get a replacment? Maybe I will try and re-use this one.

It helps when you work for the company that supplied the dampers and upper body mounts to JLR!
