Road spring rates

Does any know the poundage of the front and rear springs on a FL2? Doing a front end rebuild and want to fit a new pair. Are they all the same across the range. trying to work out the best place to get some. any ideas would be a help. Wink

Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

No.

But I did load up the Freelander with 120, 150, 180 & another 150 x 3.2kg roof tiles plus 85kg of dead weight (me) to drive across Sydney. I loaded the car tiles as far forward as possible. The car performed without any issues, & I feel the car performed really well, but I was careful driving also avoiding Sydney's pot holes which swallow small cars. I felt 180 roof tiles onboard was a bit too many. 150 roof tiles was ok.

If you intend loading up the car for outback travel it is alway best to reduce weight as much as possible to minimise wear & tear, especially & more so if your roads have corrugations, which in Australia will destroy your car! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
