Could anyone give me a recommended tyre dressing for my Freelander. When I bought it it has used tyres on but the dressing on them made them look shiny & new, its starting to wear off now & so is going to need re-treating soon.

I have in the past tried quite a lot of back to black tyre black treatments but they were not really much good. Lots of products on the bay & saw a Johns brush on type that looks like it may be good but still not sure.

Try a muddy field it’s a Land Rover

Auto Glyn just spray it on looks like you have covered it with milk 20 minutes later nice shiney tyres

This is what i use, it comes in strips a 100+ km long & you slowly build it up to the required authentic look!

Before you apply my dressing you need to thoroughly clean your tyres . Afterwitch I use this http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-t...d_635.html . It gives a nice satin finish , if you want a more shiny finish Meguiars tyre gel maybe what your looking for.

I use Turtle Wax Trim and Tyre Dressing. It's easier to apply than a spray as you put it on with a sponge. And it dries and isn't slimey when its dry so doesn't throw itself all over the side of the car when you drive off!
