So today as I walked past my car, I noticed one of the tyres looked odd. Looked a bit closer and there was a big gash running over 2 of the tread sections and it was really deep.

I have gone for years without a puncture, we are living near a large building development, then last month both my wife and I picked up nails in the outer edge of the tyre which meant that they were not repairable - it got expensive. |

At least you've (probably) got a spare! No spare or space for one in most of the DSs. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

I do, thankfully. Got a full sized alloy from this forum shortly after I bought the car. Thankfully it even has the same tyre as I'm currently using with the same tread depth.

Yeah, my dad has a habit of picking up nails and screws in his tyres. I'll need to post a pic of the cut so we can see if people think it looks deliberate. Learned to drive in 2011. Bought a Micra - great little car "Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k Reconditioned diff at 70k ish Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable. Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed.... Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental |

My mysterious punctures years ago turned out to be a farm dog. It was shot after I presented a bill for the second tyre it knacked. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
