Why cant i find these for sale?

Where have you looked? Last time I had a drive shaft replaced by my local indie they had to go to LandRover to get one. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

Or you can try a break/dismantling yard. Not so sure if I spell it correctly...
Look for a car that was a write off, but the shafts are in good order and maybe you get a good deal.
Is one of those items that are either good or bad just by looking at them.

Sorry for asking, but how did you manage to get into the situation of needing these? Especially the rear ones....

I had assumed (incorectly) that a cv joint would have been supplied to land rover and therefore available on the parts market
