Cross bar lashing eyes

HI there,

I was wondering if anyone has installed the VUB503160 lashing eyes which are mentioned in the Freelander 2 accessories catalogue index- and if so, any advice?

Many thanks
Simon

Thule 320 are the same - personally can't see the point of going to that expense for what they do

Thanks Westville.
Yes - they look very reasonable. Do I have to cut the rubber insert that is in the cross bar to fit these? I confess I didn't notice a hole for any kind of fitting?

Thanks
Simon

yeh I cant see the point of them either. whatever your using to lash down your gear (bungee, strap, rope etc) why not just wrap and secure that around the cross bar ? Its worked for me for the last 20 years of load lashing.
