Some questions by new owner

Today I got my fourth Landrover. What was that phrase about a donkey.....??? Rolling with laughter

- Anyway noticed the car is in Italian. It doesn't have a satnav screen so how do I change the language to another language?
If I can't do it myself, can it be done with a Bosch computer or is it a trip to the stealers?

- The steering wheel feels a bit thin. I have a Disco3 wheel which feels much better. Will that retrofit?

- One of the fog light bezels is missing. Anyone with a spare black one they want to get rid of?

- On the side of the drivers seat is a small split in the (off course) fake leather. Had this issue in my D3 as well where a swapped both front seats hiding the split in the inside of the passenger side. Will these seat bases come of easily? On the D3 I just had to undo 4 screws on the bottom side of the base.

Probably more to come but these came to mind first. Thumbs Up

The Freelander 2 uses a unique steering wheel boss. It is not interchangeable with your disco wheel, that's the only one of your questions I can answer but at least it's one ticked off the list Thumbs Up 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

There are companies that re-trim a steering wheel, see http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic22089.html. They can re-trim a steering wheel and make it thicker, add thumb grips etc. If you search for "Royal Steering Wheel" you will find more topics here.

The seat bases are interchangeable however, the passenger side has a weight sensor for the seat belt warning. You will need to strip off the covers and swap, or swap the sensor to remain on the passenger side. Two or four screws under the base, dependent on model. NB: when refitting the seat covers, use cable ties under the seams instead of the wire clips, much easier!

Thats interesting, could you swap seat bases from manual to electric, is the wiring in place by default?
Are seats one of the things that have to be coded or are they standalone??

When I say seat bases I am referring to the "squab" which is the upholstered part, not the base frame, which the squab fits in to. It is the base frame that has the electrics, not the squab. Only electrics in the squab are the heated seat element (if fitted) and the (passenger side) weight sensor.

Does anybody know how/who can change the language of the computer?
Can any workshop do this or is it a stealers only thing?
