Just to be clear I'm not the seller. I already bought some off Ebay with the black reflectors. But they set the front end off really nicely IMO.

Email the guy Rog and ask him what it says on the headlamp labels. They should both read HID UK.

on the one headlight I can just see it now.... asked him anyway.

he says the customer didn't have them fitted, but why wouldn't he I wonder? we all know they will be massive upgrade.

Will they work at all without coding ? (i.e. if I fit them on collection to power them up and make sure they work ? )

The DRLs will work but the main lamps will flicker for a couple of seconds when activated, then go off. At least that's what mine did. CCF edit and all was well.

Mine just flickered when I first turned them on and then both drls along with signatures extinguished. The D3S xenon bulbs did not operate at all. I bought mine brand new from a dealer however. A fortnight later I travelled down to Mikey to have my ccfs changed. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Strange. My DRLs worked fine. I used Camerons loom though so maybe affected it (DRL's wired straight to fusebox).

as mine already has the signature strip and round multi LED DRL maybe they would light up, and the xenon just try to start up but go off until the CCF is sorted.

im just a bit wary as the seller states collection only and no returns... so I don't want to drive over to Manchester and back to find they don't work at all.

and im curious as to why they weren't fitted to the 'customers' car

Rog my halogens came from factory with drls and signatures but the MY15 xenons I had still did not operate at all. Only thing that worked was the signature strip and the drl cluster flickered and went dead. If I was near Manchester I would happily meet you try them on my car.

Hopefully any member on here in Manchester will do the same for you. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

But its such a major task to take the headlight unit out Whistle

god I love these 'traditionally' built landrovers.......unbolt and slide out Laughing

the HB3 bulbs on my Evoque were a pig to change as the light units didn't come all the way out (unless you used a bit of force), they were designed to only slide forward a bit to increase access behind but I have big hands !! and the bulbs blew a lot !!
