What are peoples thoughts on this?

For what it's worth I like the look and concept - but then I have always liked London cabs, even if I have only used one once.
That said I've always liked vehicles designed to do or set up for a specific job - and perhaps there's no other designed for such a specific job (though I am sure they will sell outside of the London cabbie market)

For a black cab it looks fine.

It was launched in late 1994 Rog but quite possibly unveiled in 1993. Kinda wish the P38 was launched now. I would have loved to have had one. My folks had a 2.5 DHSE. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Trafficators. Common sense isn't very common.

As with your quoted "common sense" axle, trafficator may be correct, but it is not very common. Indicator is the common use word. We are not writing a legal directive here, it is merely a forum. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

"Trafficator" is what we now usually call "indicator". Personally I liked the old semaphore "trafficators" especially the continental ones that flapped up and down instead of just sticking out. It might be good if we went back to trafficators as the novelty value would encourage people to signal correctly. The norm these days for most drivers is to signal after starting the manoeuvre. Typically, first, the brake lights go on, second, the turn/manoeuvre starts, third, the indicator goes on, although often this third action is ommitted. Surely the objective is to signal your intention to move or turn, not to signal that you are part way through or have have just completed a manoeuvre.
