when I was in Germany there was guy lived on my street who was part of the Military Police close protection team. They had an Opel Senator 3.0 24v that held the certified record for driving 400+ miles from Moenchengladbach to Berlin... something like 3hrs IIRC so an AVERAGE of 133mph all the way..... (the only modification was a long range extra fuel tank in the boot)

Google puts the quickest route at 6hrs....
