Haldex and gearbox question.

I've just had my Haldex oil pump and filter replaced under warranty following the pumps failure. From the moment I picked my F2 up I noticed that the gearbox was silky smooth, it had become a bit lumpy when changing up or down.

Not being technically inclined could one our more learned members tell me if the failing of the pump could have Beeb responsible for the lumpy gear changing. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

no direct affect on the auto box, maybe the haldex was making a lumpy effort of affecting rear drive At work

There's a software update for the gearbox, it's for jerky changes. Your car will most probably come under that update being a 2013 SD4. Maybe if your car hadn't had the update previously, the dealer might have updated the software while your Haldex was being fixed? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I'm not sure if the LR gearboxes are adaptive but if the power was off and the box was reset as part of the work then it will learn its adaptions over again, usually starting off quite smoothly. I used to reset them on my old XJR from time to time by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
