Thankfully looks like everyone is OK and no one else involved, could have been a lot worse.

Here's hoping that no one was hurt and that the Land Rover wasn't damaged!

Unusual that there is a lack of debris. Very difficult to get it into that position without bashing it to bits. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

Nothing biased about a dislike of poorly balanced outfits flipping round on motorways. Do other peoples lives a favour keep caravans off motorways.

We can say the same thing about tractors. Let us be glad they both got through before the legislation! Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

Not going to get in the brawl but do caravans by law need to have a stabiliser bar fitted or not ? I assumed and sane person towing £25K behind them would have one . FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

We saw a caravan in the ditch on the M5 last Saturday on our way to Devon and the recovery crew were just picking up sheets of ply wood and various personal belongings, its was totally destroyed.

quite often the reason this happens is

1) poorly loaded caravan with little or no thought given to weight distribution
B) driving too fast resulting in the caravan/trailer getting a wobble on which is difficult to control unless you have the experience
Z) incorrect or inadequate towing equipment (ball, stabiliser etc)

Ive driven enough with trailers of all sizes, shapes and weights (towed behind LR, Minibus, Truck) to know how bad all the above can be if got wrong.

hopefully the occupants were all ok and the car wasn't too badly damaged (don't give a rats Censored about the caravan Laughing )
