Replacing the intercooler and condenser

2007 FL2..
Been informed theres a small crack as its leaking as well as the condensor has a small leak, ordered the parts.
Any tips on replacing the intercooler and condensor? Is it a front end off job?
Would it be ok to dirve for 2 days until its fixed? or shall i leave it stood up? Leaks more stood up (it seems)

Many thanks

A little confused

Your hose carries air not oil i assume and links to the turbo ?

As for your oil leak have you a LR part number of the part ? A condenser fits on the AC system. Or is it a auto gearbox oil cooler leaking ? FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Intercoolers do die, I have killed two, OK one was impaled with a sheet of ice wading when I should have known better - you can run for weeks if you can put up with the reduced performance.
Yes it's a front end off job, not difficult with common tools, and easy to do on your own.

The oil leaking out is the oil that has passed the turbo (common enough) and settling in the low point that is the intercooler.
It is very common for the short intercooler hose just before the intake valve to fail, the one directly connected to the intercooler can also fail.

If the condenser is the one for the aircon (can't think of another) then the fluid will gradually leak out, at some point the system will notice that there is low pressure and disconnect the aircon compressor - so no harm done, just no air conditioning, in April, in the UK, you are not going to miss it. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Ok Great, thanks! The intercooler has apparently cracked, the plastic part of it? no idea how literally just drivng along.
Was quoted £1041 from a specialist LR local garage and have sourced both the parts, genuine, for £190 plus vat.
Just have to get somewhere in the area to replace them now. FL2 GS
