Keyfob intermitant lock unlock.

Well yet another prob!
Came in from work this morn locked car with no problem.
Went out later and the neither of my 2 keyfobs would unlock the car.
After 20 mins messing 1 eventually worked. Got in car started perfect but the fobs are only working to lock and unlock when they feel like it.
Any ideas? Also found using the blade key nothing happens? Wont unlock.
Tbanks. Back in black !!

Well the obvious thing is a flat battery in the fobs.

And the key lock is probably corroded (lack of use) and will need a lot of twisting back and forth to break through to make contact. That's what I concluded when I had to use mine to get into my car a few months ago. It's not a mechanical lock but it relies on making an electrical contact. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE
