2010 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black
New turbo.

Had a new turbo fitted a wk ago.
Been told that it needs to go on computer so it can be married up with the egr valve and ecu is this correct?
Or is it just waffle?

Any emission component related change (and turbo is included here), needs to be followed by running a certain engine ECU procedure in order to initialize some date inside the ECU.
So the answer is yes, you need to run that procedure (it's recommended), but in the same time, the car will also run just fine without it (old data will be used).
