I just changed my FL2 from a MY10 TD4e to a MY13 SD4 with the updated dash. On the older one you could press certain buttons to see the distance to next service. Does anyone know if that's possible on the later dash? There's nothing in the handbook about it. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

I think (I'm away at the moment with out the car) but I think you can go into the service menu via the steering wheel controls to get the info you require. I changed from a TD4e to a MY13 late last year and was impressed with the new dash set up. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I have looked through the menus when I set up everything to my preferences but didn't spot that. Mind you, at the tine I wasn't looking for it.

It's not greyed out on my car. I scroll down to it and press the "OK" button on the wheel and in there are two sub menus showing either the VIN number or the last "alarm" which in my case was trying to lock the car with the passenger door open.....apparently.

Engine needs to be off to access the service menu, so just press the start button without pressing pedals, to bring on all the dash electrics. The service option is then highlighted like the rest but you can only see the VIN and the last alarm.

Mine doesn't have that message yet but the Trader I bought it from told me that a service is due soon. Which is why I posted the question in the first place. Apart from the service book showing 10K miles since the last service, I don't know how he knows/knew that a service is due.???

The owners manual states the mileage/time intervals for services so you can work it out otherwise the car will tell you 3 weeks out it's due for service.
Orange triangle.....you should be getting a message on each ignition cycle for this warning reminder. MY15

I understood that the service interval was set, not by time and or distance but was set by the car monitoring the driving style and oil contamination levels......amongst other things.
So without a way of asking the car to tell you the estimated distance to the next service, as I could on my MY10, it would be dangerous to go away on a 5K holiday in case the warning comes up 1K into it. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

Service interval is set by time/distance and oil contamination due to a certain amount of failed regeneration cycles of the DPF, whichever occurs first. MY15
