EGR attached Electrical Pack

Seems my EGR was down due to the Electrical pack attached not carbon build up.

Same cost though to change out. Big Cry FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

What was the cause ? could it not be cleaned in any way where did you get the replacement from please, any and all reports welcome and appreciated for future reference cheers Arctic

re egr valve

hi have you noticed any difference in your cars performance since getting it fixed.

my seems to have more power, but i suppose i could be imaging it.

Carbon on the valve area was low and getting at the electrical solenoid once its off the way its built seems about impossible as I did try so it looks like a write off once they fail. There have been failures on Ewoks and other MY13 FL's so its going to be a bad batch on production and a weak link. I have a hunch they may be cheaper at a Citroen or Peugeot a bit like the thermostats but no idea if the electrics talk to a FL2. Mine was an all in fitted price but Island 4x4 seem to have them for £180, coolant flush was asked for so you need to add coolant cost if doing it at home. Fitting price will depends on labour rate but book time is 3.5 hour I think. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Not so far, just glad to be back on the road and MPG is doing just fine. Will be adding some cylinder lubricant with fuel from now on as I often pickup supermarket fuel. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
