The dealer claims it is referring to the Haldex.

I've had the haldex changed 3 times during the past 12 months.

Each time, when LR changes the haldex, they also change the rear diff oil and transfert box oil. it's part of the procedure.

It's just possible your dealer may be wrong. LR regards the Haldex as unserviceable (even though it shouldn't) and doesn't call it the "PTU". 1978 Laverda Jota. Stolen...

Lidl are selling a 12 volt suction pump this week for little money. Could be the answer for getting the oils out of the Haldex and front transfer box. Thumbs Up FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Hi,

I am planning to service my PTU soon. I had a quick look underneath yesterday. How is the access to the service port? Is it space between the sub frame and PTU to do the drain/refill or do I need to do this from the rear end of the sub frame with a long tube for drain/fill?

Actually for the haldex he offered a full service including removing Haldex, cleaning pump and filter area, change filter and refill oil.

LR done the service today and offered to try and
Pump out the PTU, it seems they were succsseful.

So i got Haldex clean with filter and fresh oil, auto gear box oil change,
Rear diff and PTU oil change for 850 euro 😏
Most of the moeny went to the gear box oil

Since the change the 1800 rpm vibration are gone, to bad i now dont know what part caused it but since it was seems to come from the front i will guess the PTU or gearbox
