Best way to theft proof exhaust tail pipe

I bought one of those tailpipe extensions, but I am a bit worried that one day I find its removed.
Anybody has a tip how to secure it ? I am leaning towards either spotwelding or putting some
rivets in... Whistle [ Freelander 2 TD4e MY10 Sport manual. SVR badge engineered ] SOLD

Don't fit one - they look naff anyway! Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?

@ Road toad... I like the text about tats... But the exhaust extra.. it just a matter of taste [or lack of it..].

Very personal, just like tats... Whistle [ Freelander 2 TD4e MY10 Sport manual. SVR badge engineered ] SOLD

Cut a thread on end of exhaust so shiny tailpiece can be screwed on. Then remove each time you park and put it in your pocket. Will work as a lovely handwarmer in the colder weather. Be sure to put it in a cover of some sort first else the inside of your pocket may get covered in soot. Twin exhausts would be even better as both hands can be kept warm.
