Took the drivers door panel off, (no problem), put it back on (no problem), but it now will not

There is a cable that connects the lever to the lock and its probably come dislodged.

Except for that guy on the forum who always parked his FL2 with driver side against a wall and then got out the passenger side then locked it. After leaving the car for a couple of weeks he returned to find a flat battery and the only way in is via the mechanical key which only fits the lock on the driver side....... 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I thought the emergency unlock was on the passenger side not the drivers side. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |

Where is the driver in Europe or the States etc though. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

MMM you could be right, I assumed that as Dorsetfreelander was in the UK that his anecdote would relate to a RHD car. Still can't fathom why they did not put an emergency key slot on each side though. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |

Well on mine the key slot is definitely on the l/h side If it ain't ***ked don't fix it |
