Vibrating bonnet

Travelling along the A66 yesterday I noticed that the bonnet was vibrating severely particularly on the front near side. When a HGV passed the opposite lane, the whole bonnet "lifted". This prompted an impromptu stop in the first lay-bys to inspect. I had noticed that the near side edge had a larger gap than the driver's side, and it looks like air was getting under the bonnet causing it to fluctuate. Fortunately the main bonnet latch held, but has anyone else experienced this, or have any suggestions to resolve the problem?

Just a quick update on this. Reading the thread linked by CG, (thanks) I tried applying "extra" pressure on the bonnet above the two retaining points and voila, bonnet back to normal. Thanks everyone for the suggestions, glad I didn't have to resort to Yorky Bob's solution though, although I could've had a ready milk supply!!

If you had followed Yorky Bob's solution then you would have needed a couple of sacks of spuds in the boot to balance the car. Then not only would you have some milk for your tea, but steak and chips as well.
