Warning beeps

I have a 2014 my SD4 HSE and, unlike my 2007 GS, I get no warning beeps when the temperature falls to $ degrees or less. There is a "snow flake" warning on the display. I sometimes get a double beep warning on staring the car but this has no relationship with temperature. I have read on here that others have also had this. So should the low temperature sound or not ?.

Mine doesn't sound either looked in settings but can't find anything to adjust. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak.

Stop global winging.

I get a "Beep" when it's less than 10 degrees but I don't get a visual until it's less than 5 +/-

It's a bit confusing. Either it's a "Frost" warning or it's not!

What a great set of replies. Thank You. It would seem that the 2 beeps has indeed been removed on later cars.

Well mine's a late model and it beeps at +3 or 4c. Maybe it's market specific. My car was built for Switzerland and has a few cold weather features. driving on the right side

This is the only reference I can find for this.

Mine does the same.

Why?
