Cold air

Hello forum, first question about my 2012 Freelander 2 HSE, had it 6 months and had no real problems (So far) but have noticed when the heaters are on and blowing hot air, when I go around a roundabout or long sweeping bend there seems to be a cold draft blowing then when I straighten up the hot air comes back Thumbs Up With my last car Skoda Octavia VRS you could reset the vents off the heater switch. Is there any thing like that on the Land Rover

Thank you for any information regards the above question

Cold air is heavier so it will move outwards on a bend! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Good point and certainly true in a centrifuge, I wonder how fast he was cornering?

However, I was told that modern car ventilation is a problem since the more aerodynamic you make a car the harder it is to get a good internal airflow and that's why you generally have to have the blower on continuously these days to get any ventilation. My only guess would be that when going round a corner the car isn't head on into the wind so that the airflow changes. Any aerodynamicists in the house? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Not looked into the specific internals of the FL2 heating system, but could it be an internal flap which diverts the air through the heater matrix being pulled across on hard cornering thus allowing cold air to flow instead of hot? FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

All I can say is that having bought an FL2 you will have to get to grips with bigger issues than this. Very Happy 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
