Wiper (fast speed) fault

Hi Everyone;

For some reason my wipers work on all settings except fast speed. Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers

Pete

As an update to my original post, I took my F2 in to 'my' independent LR garage who tried various things including a new switch but to no avail. He suggested it could be something to do with the wiring from the main CJB so I took it to a main dealer for their diagnostics. They tried a new switch (didn't work obviously) then further tests revealed that it was most likely to be a fault with the CJB. Now, £145(plus labour) for a new switch would have been bad enough but I was quoted over £1k for a CJB Big Cry !!! My 57 plate Freelander is in great condition but I cannot justify that, even if I could afford it. Does anyone know whether these Central Junction Boxes can be fixed by an auto electrician, or if reconditioned ones are available?
At the end of the day, it is not a critical problem but the double speed has come in very handy on numerous occasions.
Any advice gratefully received folks.
Peter

Not critical is maybe the correct answer as it sounds like the repair as quoted is not going to be cost effective. Lets hope its something known to a indie or someone else on here and easy to fix. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

In the passenger foot well. It holds all the mini blade fuses.

I would have a look at the high low speed relay in the engine fuse/relay box before jumping in to the BCM.

Is the CJB the fuse box that has to be programmed to talk to the car or am I thinking of something else? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
