QUIZ: Well, what do you know about engines?

Working in a motor vehicle training centre I'd have been ashamed to get anything less than maximum marks but how much do you know? Had to cast my mind back to my apprenticeship days for some of them!

https://www.zoo.com/quiz/what-do-you-know-...oola=false Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

Apparently I know how to get through an engine like an all-wheel-drive vehicle knows how to get through mud!

32, and one of the wrong answers was my own fault - I knew it if I'd taken the time to think about it!

33 /35. A bit miffed as question 23 technically had two correct answers. I chose the wrong one.

Not bad as I have never trained on reciprocating engines, only gas turbines.

RP.

34/35 - and learned about what honing was for. Didn't realise that it was to improve lubrication in the bore.

I got the honing one wrong as well - always thought it was a process to create an extremely smooth finish or for sharpening a blade Sad MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
