Nokia 215 handsfree compatibility.

I have a MY 2015 SD4 SE which has the more basic radio,(not touch screen, no sat nav) but it has Bluetooth connectivity.

I currently use a Samsung GT S5230 mobile hands free with it and its fine, my wife’s iPhone 5 also functions. I want to change my phone and have been thinking of a Nokia 215 which is a basic non smart phone and according to Nokia the connectivity is “900/1800 MHz, Micro USB, 3.5mm AV connector, Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM and HSP/HFP profile” HFP apparently stands for Handsfree Profile so I assumed it would work but to be on the safe side checked with Land Rovers compatibility list but it was not there. I enquired with customer relations to be told that as they had not tested the phone they did not know how it would function. It seems incredible that the only way the manufactures know what mobiles will work is by trial and error and that the Bluetooth spec means nothing to them.

Has anybody had experience with this particular phone?

Pete.

Should work without issues, my wife's previous Nokia 111 and current Nokia 208 works flawlessly, even better than my Android phone. Latest iPhone 7 also works without issue.
