back to dualit toaster , they are worth the extra, I bought one after enjoying the toast out of one in a holiday cotttage we stayed at. they are just hotter and more even in the heat. then when an element goes you buy one from ebay cheaply and repair. the two elements that failed on ours over the years were both due to Ms G putting crumpets in the bread slots not using the proper basket

pricey mind but i got mine cheap on ebay , one of those to good to be true probably stolen ebay items Confused clean unused but no box At work

No deliveries is probably due to those in private cars whizzing around doing it at a bodge-it and scarper price.

Young lad I know was left with £2,000 owing him last Christmas working for a third party contractor to Amazon. Same will happen again this year come the end of the silly season to some poor lads and lasses.

Last month a young gentleman doing exactly the same put a 16 reg' VW combi van through one of our dry stone walls while we were on hols. Apparently the narrow cobbled hill ( that will be the showcase climb in the Tour de Yorkshire Censored ) had 3" of snow on it , and he didn't understand the concept of traction. He couldn't speak English properly so no one could get his details. When we got home we had to go through the Traffic Police to get his insurance details ( neighbour had video on phone so I had the plate ). He was self employed , working for an Amazon contracted 3rd party, and driving a rental van , owned by a further leasing company . The Traffic PC was great , found out everything we needed to know . Apparently the lad driving had to fund a £1000 excess on the policy . He had to make deliveries or not get paid ! So he risked it 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Would you believe it .....an Amazon Echo dot - the small one! He was dumbstruck when he found out I had the full size one. So dumbstruck he set it up there and then, liked it and decided to keep it for himself. "I'll have to owe you a present, Dad". Kids! Laughing

FFS

He decided to send it back and get me something else. Wifey thought we should get him the full size Echo for Christmas. £149.99. Grrrr. I ordered it, it came the other day. Today, £129.99. So, that's £50 wasted on two echo's bought at the wrong time with their bloody yoyo pricing! F Censored g Amazon. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I may be getting the Black Friday deal to top all Black Friday deals!

Ordered the headphones on Black Friday, were due to be delivered to a collection point just across the road to where I work on the following Monday. On the Monday I got an email telling me there was a delay and I would be getting them on Wednesday. Wednesday - nothing so I got onto Amazon and complained on Thursday. They apologised and sent me another pair special delivery next day before 1:00 and I got them Friday morning at my work address as they weren't allowed to resend to the same collection address. Today, I got a text and email with a code to collect them from the collection point so come Monday, I may have another pair of £290 headphones. Let's just hope they are as inefficient at internal auditing as they are at sending out stuff in the first place. Whistle

Well, I never heard from them again so I'm assuming I'm in the clear. Currently on eBay and the bidding has reached £250! Got 16 watchers and the auction doesn't end for a few days. Happy days. Mr. Green

Edit: Now £275. Mr. Green Mr. Green Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
