Magnetic Vehicle Protection Project

I was looking at the magnetic protection covers that Bjartin has, Which i priced up as (650 euros) and that got me thinking i could make my own, possibley anyway Confused

I found a site that offers a 10m roll of vehicle grade magnetic sheet 610mm wide 0.85mm thick

Only problem is I would have to work out how much i would need first, as i presume the doors are larger than 610mm, and the site seems to offer gloss white only. (I would prefer grey obviously)

Just thinking out loud at the moment, but has anybody had dealing with magnetic vehicle signs and how flexible are these to mold around the curves of the wheel archs etc Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Oops I think we upset the mod, ah well there a first time for everything Laughing

You'd better measure your car Mr pink not those drawings or your plan to convert your fl2 in a fridge will go wrong.

If by some crazy chance it does work I will be sure to buy a big bag of alphabet fridge magnets to write rude messages on your car with Whistle At work

I think your idea would work but I would stick to covering the large flat areas rather than trying to cover the more awkward areas At work
