Intermittent fault - Satnav and phone connection

I've been experiencing an occasional fault with my Freelander 2, where having started the vehicle, it loses the previously set-up bluetooth connection with the mobile phone, and cannot establish a new connection with any phone. At the same time, although the satnav map displays correctly, it is impossible to input a destination, or recall a previously used one. It's very frustrating.

I have discovered that the only way to restore functionality, is to switch off the ignition, and wait about fifteen minutes for all the time-delayed circuitry (radio, etc.) to cut out. Restarting the vehicle usually cures the original problem.

Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how did you solve it (if at all)?

Ta. Chris
