Hi, has anyone installed an android dvd sat nav system replacing the default sat nav screen in their vehicle? by this i do not mean double din but in tablet format, if so could you post a pic or tell me which unit you have?
i have searched and read, i can see a couple of members installed them back in 2012, so any updates on this format please

thx rogb for the reply, i did read these threads however i was looking for more of an android system so that i can voice activate through the galaxy S7 edge plus, as in the first video (voice activation)
but... i'll keep searching and let you know if i come up with something Smile
so far i cant get anything under £350

i guess if you can find an Android tablet to fit the slot, and be able to feed power to, that is running the later versions of Android that have voice recognition on, you should be able to rig something up.

The Chinese tablets seem to be the most likely to fit the space and allow a power cable to be run in.

good luck with it, as the standard LR Nav for that era certainly isn't the best
