Photography in Scotland

OK, I know this is like asking "how long is a piece of string?" But I'm taking "My Good Lady" North of the border in September and hope to get to the top where water gets a bit too deep - even for a FR2! Anyone know of some exceptionally beautiful spots that "should not be missed" or conversely any place that should not! I should add I'm a photography geek - if that's relevant!
All suggestions gratefully received!

Head to applecross pass, I have never seen anything like it , the view is better going from north to south, unfortunately it's a single track road with passing places on a 1-5 hill so not concussive to stoping and raking pictures. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

Applecross is fantastic. Also Glencoe, Glen Affric, Loch Ness, loads of great places and fantastic beaches too.

There are quite a few places on the Pass of the Cattle to take photo's just use common sense and don't block a passing place, an open to car is the ideal vehicle to use, if it's raining don't go, you'll see nothing, if it's sunny OK any other time you're in the cloud or above it Laughing my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.

I drove my mum and dad up to Applecross as they asked about it and said they heard it was fantastic.
After a lunch I drove the pass taking in the scenery, then turned round and said "well, what did you think then?"
They were both asleep and had missed the lot Banging Head

Thanks for all the tips fellas. I'll look these places up and, weather permitting will try and give them a look. Mind you Snappa, there is a very real chance that "My Good Lady" (Alias "Sat Nag") will probably copy the lead your parents gave. Oh well, some you win, some you . . .

I always warn my wife when we're approaching a "pretty view" to give her time to go to sleep. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

I live at one end of glencoe and been working at the other end for over a year you could stop at the same place every day and take a different picture of the same thing, most spectacular was at night after a heavy snow and a full moon
