Musty damp smell

Hi, anyone had a musty damp smell every now and then and got to the bottom of it ?
9 time out of ten i have no issue , everything is fine. But now and then when getting in the car to go to work in the morning i start her up and get a musty damp smell come through the air vents. Almost like a crap cars air con smell - but the air con wasn't on or used previously.
It clears after a few minutes. I have no idea - any one else had this ?

Time for an air-con air filter change ?

Perhaps a kinked or partially blocked condenser drain tube?

Theory being that using the air con would create enough condensation fluid to rinse out old fluid, but not using it would cause residue fluid from any blockage to mildew. 2008 3.2L I6 Auto

I vote for an air-con air filter change then regular use of the air-con.
