Ok
I can’t clearly see what your problem is, you need to remove it completely but I suspect you don’t have the correct harness.
Disassembled the entire wheel and start again and check you have plugged in all plugs and

Thanks Stuartc. I have done that and still no further ahead (three times actually). I have checked with LR and it is the correct heated module and wheel. It says with speed control, I assume that is cruise? However the cruise is on the left hand switchpack so it shouldn't make any difference.

The only other think I have just noticed is that the on the old r/h switchpack the top 2 pins in the large block are missing and are present in the new one. However the white plug that goes into that block does not have wires in the top 2 holes. Is this possibly an issue?

What I don't get is on every forum I have looked at and that is a lot in the last 5 hours, it has been plug and play, but not for me.... Big Cry

If I can't sort it soon, I will have to abandon it and send it all back as I can't have my car in pieces... Big Cry Big Cry

Just a sudden thought, when others have done this have they used the switchpack wiring harness from the old wheel or a new one?

I am a completely spoilt. Pretty much every car I get to drive that isnt the FL2 has a heated steering wheel.

FL2 must do better!

Clock spring out;

New clock spring in. Notice the white break away tab at the bottom. This is used to keep the tracks of the 'clock spring' centred during installation.

Clock spring in, next is the rather laborious process of rebuilding the old wheel into the new.

And on to the car

Its lovely and warm, and its not even cold outside. The other half is pretty made up with it to.

Laughing Welcome to the club Thumbs Up
Before you get all “toasty” Did you update your CCF?
It’s works without but it does generate a “Configuration incomparable” dtc if you don’t! MY15
