Getting the odd spot on my drive and there seems to be a bit behind the engine on pipes?

Funnily enough I changed my headlamp dipped bulbs this morning and noticed the same problem, did you manage to get any feed back from anywhere?

Also checked the oil and noticed it was down, appreciate your reply.

I believe the normal fix is to replace the current clip with a jubilee clip.

Jubilee clip and if you like a small amount of sealer around the pipe between the pipes as long as it isn't thick and lumpy so it doesn't get sucked in the inlet.

The oil is just engine fume oil in the intake, so nothing to worry about.

I took a good look at the leak this morning and rather than the pipe up by removing the existing clips (these are as wide as the jubilee's and crimped) which seemed well and truly solid I washed it all down to check the source and as I'm back in Blighty in a couple of weeks time where I can buy an LR genuine replacement/s, also noticed that on the far RHS another breather pipe comes into the intake clean side of the business which I found to be loose as it swivels on its plastic moulding.

Topped up the beast and we'll see later.

Seems to be quite a common issue, does anyone have the size of the jubilee clip needed?

I came over to Blighty from Spain after ordering a new pipe @ £62.00p from Listers Droitwich (which included new compression clips) I was also visiting family so the trip wasn't just for the pipe. Back in Spain bought new jubilee clips and cleaned and fitted said pipe. No leaks at all and very pleased, I was thinking of just putting new jubilee clips on but not wishing to tempt fate by trying to refit a duff pipe, well that was my decision and its proved a good one.

For others (including myself!), have you got the part number of the part you ordered?

The hose crankcase part number is NLR001263, this was fitted with jubilee clips bought in Spain and hey presto no leaks.

I had a oil leak that i asked the local indi to investigate. They said its a common problem and replaced the standard clip with a jubilee clip.

I still get the odd drip on the drive. When i removed the under tray, the insulation pad was sodden with oil.

are you actually losing any oil from the engine? Mine uses about 0.5L over a 6 month period. Could this be caused by the above?

I cannot see any oil leaks as this was more of a weep, if you get what I mean.
I did wash down the engine and dry it off to ensure that it was all clean to enable me to monitor the situation, it is still that way, which is great.
There is an oil stain underneath the engine but it isn't wet, could well be the residue of the wash down.
No further drips or leaks noticed.
