New steering lock fitted now starts but get lock messages

My MY2010 refused to start recently and steering lock error messages on screen. Clicking of relays and lights flashing etc. After recovery he Steering lock was replaced then LR programmed the lock and fobs. All seemed OK and the car now starts but I still get the "steering locked" message after the system checking but pressing start and the car still starts.
I don't believe that this is a hardware issue as the new lock is working fine and you can hear it engage and disengage.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is this a software error message that needs clearing or something more sinister.

The car also had a new battery fitted at the same time as it's the e version and the stop start had stopped working.

The car runs fine other than the occasional locked message.

I have it booked back into LR for next week but would appreciate any suggestions Smile
