If only one lane is used in the approach to a merge the queue is twice as long as necessary. This can lead to the rear of the queue causing stationary traffic on the running lanes of a 70mph road. This is where lives are lost. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

Not too sure which video some of you watched but there was no merge. The inside lane was closed and the caravan was in the 3rd lane. 100% his fault, couldn't be any more clear cut.

The truck driver had enough to focus on with the clown in front accelerating then braking. There was no gap there for the caravanner to squeeze into and almost side swipes the car in front as well as the truck. When that didn't work he then charges across the chevrons.

Yes, the caravan tow car driver was at fault but the lorry driver could have totally avoided the collision.
