So this is Lenny , our 2007 GS, bought in December 2013 ,one owner , FSH, 62kmiles, he's got Goodyear wrangler atsa tyres , he's been good up until this week , now he's cost a bit of money, new n/s rear caliper, auxiliary belt tensioner & belt, handbrake shoes & wheel bearing being replaced Thursday , then its new front discs & alternator pulley, then hopefully back to happy trouble free motoring , he's had a shock replaced in last 6 months too, as you can see he gets of the beaten track a bit ...

So it turns out Lenny has no diff noise or wheel bearing gone, the noise I've been hearing was due to loose handbrake springs & clips grinding about in the hub , so much they've worn a groove , hence the poor handbrake... Should be back up & running tomorrow ..
