I need 2 new tyres for my van , I'm pretty sure I have Maxxis tyres on the van just now. After doing a bit of searching I found that I can get Dunlops for the same price as the Maxxis and I can get hankooks even cheaper .
Do you guys have any experience of these tyres any other brand that would work on a caravan ? Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

I believe Hankook were OE on Swift caravans at one time so should be fine.

I don't know what size you are looking at or the weight of your caravan but if they are 175/80/14 you might want to consider changing to 185/75/14 for a higher load rating.

The 175's are 99 (775kg) the 185's are 102 (850kg).

My last caravan had 2 year old 175's fitted and I can't help but think having them running so close to their limit on a 1500kg caravan had something to do with one of them delaminating and causing so much damage the caravan was a right off. Mine, Saab convertible

And quietly changed to fitting DMack a couple of years ago, I think they had supply problems and tyres they fit now include Kargomax, Nankang and Duran.

Bailey as far as I know fit Michelin. Mine, Saab convertible

Thanks for the info Saab , my tyre size is 185 R14C 104/102 N .. I can get 2 hankooks for £125 by black circle Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

I have replaced the tyres on my Lunar back in September. I too had Maxxis but opted for Hankooks. I ordered them from Tyreleader.com. How does £86 sound for 2 delivered.

They are despatched direct from Germany but only took 2 or 3 days to arrive and i had them fitted and balanced at a local fitter for £20.

Those will be fine. Last time I had tyres fitted I left the caravan on blocks at one side and the trolly jack at the other.
If you are friendly with others that store their caravan at the same place you could borrow their spare to use while you take yours for the new tyres. Mine, Saab convertible

Hi Saab , the van is stored at a caravan club compound , you can't do that kind of in the compound , I need to take the van out of the yard for it to be serviced or have the tyres fitted . It isn't a problem as there is loads of space outside of the yard , I'm more than happy for the fitter to come to me , it's only £125 for the tyres supplied & fitted. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!
