Isn't it funny in this, the 21st century, the amount of hardware/software problems that can be solved by 'turning it off and on again' , sorry, I mean rebooting |

I'm not in Brazil, but LR sorted my Sat Nav out when it froze......

Well, this last weekend I try resetting the nav pulling off the negative battery cable.

Looking at the Navteq website, they do not appear to have maps for Brazil

Hi Willaw What happens if you put the old DVD back in? do the navigation then works or not. |

Have anybody purchased an update from Navteq and if so how did it work. Was there and upgrade that was required?

Nothing such as cables have come loose when getting the DVD into the machine

I wonder where the main navigation unit is, and if you could disconnect it, maybe even for a couple of days, then re-connect it, and see if that helps to wipe any residuale memory.
