I had my Garmin Sat Nav wired up by Halfords in Poole today. I find it invaluable for all those bits of information the standard built-in unit doesn't give you, like speed in KMH, camera alerts, that sort of thing.

The job was started on time by a very pleasant chap, finished ahead of schedule, and everything functions as it should.

The bill - including a length of cable and a socket - was £30, which I thought very reasonable.

The highest compliment was paid by my wife, who upon inspecting the resulting lack of tangled cable declared she would book her car in tomorrow for a similar procedure.
