Whistling noise

My 2 months old Td4 has developed a whistling noise from the engine which is immediately apparant from start-up and gentle accelleration. Has anybody experienced a similar noise?

Thanks, Torlund.

it could be the turbo whistling through the dump valve

Or is it a louder than that?

Can't say I know what a turbo should sound like. This noise was not apparent upon taking delivery, but has just started after a longish run. The car has only covered 900kms. Should I take it to the dealer?

Yeah what the hell.

If it's nothing then what have you lost but a bit of time?

Thumbs Up
