United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black
SatNav problem

Hi,

Have a 2009 Freelander 2 TD4HSE with a few issues.

Anyone know what might be causing the Satnav screen to experience colour change interference most of the time?
It works properly in all respects except that when looking at directions and menus on its screen, there is often flashing colour changes across parts of it.
Green colour of roads will intermittently turn blue then green again. Not dissimilar to what happens to a TV channel when not tuned-into a channel properly.

It has been suggested that I take the DVD out of the Satnav device under the drivers seat and clean the DVD, but I am wary of doing so in case I upset the system.

Anybody out there with advice please?

thanks..

Just take it out and give it a gentle clean it will probably help resetting it anyway don't worry about it.

England 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Loire Blue

Years ago had a similar problem with a computer monitor. Turned out to be a loose lead between pc and monitor. Could there be a cable/connector which is not fully home? FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory
