Help Needed!

I need new tyres!

Now live more in town (moved from countryside to be nearer hospital as hubby has dodgy heart!) so need good tyres mainlky for road use...

I have read loads of posts tonight and there seems to be some front runners..

Grabbers GT
Goodyear Wrangler 108T
Pirellis

What do you think? I need low road noise!

You will get different answers from different people but I use Perelli Verde, I think they are excellent. You would not be disappointed if you bought these.

Grabber GT absolutely no issues found so far, great in summer, wet and winter was as expected with enough traction too get about when needed Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I would think so, but I am not sure what all the extra letters mean

I couldn't find local stock in Leeds so I went with MYTyres and had a fitting partner put them on

Very straight forward

Not sure on the 17's speed rating but the have some 17's

Those are the size I had on my last car and as Npinks said absolutely no issues,
The ones in the link from Mytyres are only 99 load rating you would need the 108 ones.
In short excellent tyres at a reasonable price. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak.

Another vote for the GT's. Great in the ice and snow, wet and dry. Noise levels vary depending on the road surface but overall I would say they are quieter than Wranglers. I wouldn't stick anything else on mine now.
