It's two hours old! Awww!

Laughing

Well I just took delivery so here it is for those who are interested.

Strange, but in the flesh it looks a lot darker than it seems to be in these pics. Must be my duff camera, but the pics here aren't a very good representation of the car's colour. Looks much nicer in the flesh.

And the beautiful Leather/Alcantara seats..

It's weird. It doesn't look nearly that bright in the flesh.. must be something to do with the paint and the camera or something. From the pics, I wouldn't have ordered that colour either but seeing it in reality is much nicer.

I understand what you mean and i think its the other way round, the photos make it look really nice, but the one I saw in the bright lights of a dealers show room was just too blue

Don't get me wrong, everybody has there own choice, Thumbs Up

I think it is the equivalent blue to what Tambora Flame is to orange, which is strange as i quite like TF, but would buy the colour as it isn't grey Very Happy

Are those seats grey leather/plastic Question or is that just your camera again Whistle Look great anyway Thumbs Up
The Martinique Blue seems darker that the old Caspian Blue and looks good on your FL2, although its a bit to flamboyant for me (being a grey person Wink ). But I personally STILL think that Tonga Green is the best FL2 colour Thumbs Up

Nice car! Nice colour but a little too blue if you get my meaning. Had a estoril blue BMW previous which was stunning, a little lighter than the Freelander 2 blue. A relation has just had a new Nissan Squashcar (sorry i dont know how to spell it quaqui or quasqua - I AINT SPELL CHECKING IT!!!) in blue and that is simply sooooo blue it looks pants.

Would love to see the Freelander 2 blue in the flesh, wish it was an option when i was looking - i may have been tempted if it looked a little lighter in the flesh!

Sorry to disillusion you Frobius, but it is only the facings that are REAL leather Sad as they on mine and everybody else's LR2 Shocked . The backs and sides are imitation (vinyl) or plastic if you like. When I found out that I nearly blew a fuse Embarassed Evil or Very Mad . If it had only been on the seat backs it wouldn’t have been so bad maybe Question . If I was buying again I would order cheap covers and have proper leather fitted aftermarket – cheaper than LR’s and much better choice of colours and you get the choice of FULL leather Thumbs Up .

Should have said LR FL2 of course Thumbs Up
But my original question was about the colour of the seats - are they Black (or grey) with Grey Alcantara Question Question Question
I was not trying to wind you up about the plastic content Whistle Whistle

Yeah I heard about the sides and back being vinyl. Not good. Mind you, I can't actually tell the difference on mine. The sides look the same as the bolsters.

Anyways, the bolsters are black leather (he hopes!) and the facings are grey alcantara.

They are listed on the website as "Seats - Alcantara® and Napoli Leather with electric driver's adjustment including height and recline, manual lumbar support and passenger's recline (6/4-way)"

I doubt it, but maybe the Style Pack seats have leather sides too? I def got the little tag that talks about leather care.
