Retrofitting standard Radio / HSE Radio ?

Good evening, I have a request, and does not come on. I am owner of a Freelander 2 with standard facilities with CD player that I wanted to replace by the HSE from the facilities. For expansion I noticed that the standard CD player no optical fiber is as well as the plug is different. Gibts there a way to convert this to HSE? Which modules are needed? Does the wiring harness to be replaced? Greetings from Cologne Mersad

I only need the harness? Are my Radio module the connections for the new wiring harness included or do I need other modules? Is the wiring harness for RHD and LHD Identical? Would be great if someone makes a lr article number had most of the HSE facilities. Many thanks and greetings Mersad

Also a good deal of info can be obtained by looking at the wiring diagrams for both systems.
The link is: http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic2943.html
You will see there which are the differences and which modules are in one version and which in the other.
My opinion...
The conversion from lo-line to high-line audio should be done only if you have a lot of time, money and you really want to do this. There is a lot of work involved.
