would you report this suicide driver

well covering approximately 300 miles per day on the road I see plenty of drivers with attitude but I don't normally even raise an eyebrow ! BUT this ones got my attention.
What would you do ?
I have reported it locally , also to 101 and further e-mailed the details to our local traffic division but 5 days on and not even been contacted.
This guy will kill someone shortly and it could be you if you met him coming the other way !
I have given the police a description of the driver, reg number, name of building company on side of van, reg number of car in front as an additional witness for whom was tailgated for some 7 miles.
I am advised that in car camera footage is inadmissible in court ! ( strange that as I have had a successful prosecution myself with incar camera footage against a taxi driver that forced me off the road )
So why is it you can get a speeding ticket 3 points and 80 quid fine for 34 in a 30 and this numpty can driver like a nutter possessed and the police are not interested ?
The video is bet to watch from 1.05 onward and you may need to watch three times to believe what he actually does !

Pikies, above the law and untouchable.
I've stopped reporting anything I see as absolutely nothing gets done or followed up on, the camera is there to help protect me in the event of an accident.

Contact the RPU base by telephone and and ask to speak with the duty inspector.

Truth is, in the scheme of things, your video will be way down on their list of priorities. Actual fatal / serious injury RTC investigations will have to take precedence over 'could have beens', however bad to watch on video.

Whilst personal dashcam video is not considered best evidence, they do have YOUR evidence. Your video will merely support what you will say in court when summonsed as a witness.

They will have to contact the firm, ask who the driver was (which despite being to obliged to do, they may not, or claim to be unable) so you may have the ID the driver.

The best way to catch drivers like that is police on the ground I'm afraid.

From my experience, I believe that's an entirely legitimate Italian driving maneuver. The idea is to fill up all the lanes...any arrows painted on the road are purely guidelines....suggestions really. I had heard that they were thinking of changing from driving on the left to driving on the right in some country, the name escapes me. The plan was to do it in stages, all the trucks for a few months first, then the cars if it worked ok.

it seems to me the only driving offences that arouse any interest in the police or general public are speeding & drink driving.
As long as you don't speed, & stay below the limit all is well. General brainwashing, car crash TV & so called road safety campaigns may have a lot to do with this as they always seem to focus on the above. Its wrong & totally misses the point but its easy & emotive stuff. Note: Im not advocating driving while pi**ed Thumbs Up

If you have the name of the company ? from the side of the truck, then get the email address of the owner of the business and email them the link to the video
If it was my company, they would be looking for another job!

If they are a one man band, check to see if they are registered with any trade body or CheckaTrade and send them the link
