has anyone made good strong sliders yet

I'm just running with the LR side tubes.

Yes they can get damaged, but better that than the sills.
[Worked a treat on the D3 then had sliders on the D4]

Dan at Duckworth parts had a good deal on them in 2009 £65 as far as I can remember, delivery inccluded But probably all gone at that price ...but you can ask just in case he has a set left covered in dust and needs the space ..😁😁😁 Wales
Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.
(And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! )

As I've said they worked for me as sliders/sill protectors.



But even at £65 per set of tubes, that was a damn good deal.
They're into the £hundreds now .
