Some members have requested pics of the Front Styling Cover so here is a few.
In my case this is worth every cent as I had the styling cover fitted to my FL1 V6 and it's saved me so many times. If you calculate how much it is to repair or replace a front bumper on the FL2 then it's cheap insurance. It also looks great, especially from the front, I'm not sure pics really do it justice! Sticker is attached under the bonnet by LR.

Looks very good, whats the stance on these in the UK? Presumably not totally illegal...?

the cover for the pre facelift models like mine is still £230 - £260

the one I got for my old FL1 only cost me £50 brand new

Just an update as I've had the front styling bar painted along with my grill!
Pleased beyond belief with result!
Santorini black contrast with Aintree Green is amazing!

Some daytime shots, unfortunately a dull day here today, it is winter here in Australia after all.
Very, very, very happy with result. Aintree Green and Santorini Black work very well together, look is very menacing without looking overdone.
Now that the grill surround, front styling bar and grill spars are all same black it really has brought the front all together.
Lot easier to clean now aswell!!

Could do with seeing some front low down angled shots of the whole car.

Yes, I totally agree but there's been method to my madness. When I ordered my car (well was already on water) only way to specify black grill was for dealer to paint and they wanted crazy money, so I thought I'd order new grill only to find out complete New bumper and they didn't have a part number or any available in Australia So I decided to just take delivery and sort out later which is exactly what I've done As it was last shipment of FL2 to Australia didn't want to jeopardise loosing this particular vehicle to someone else.
So I've got there eventually!
Yeah, it's a bit hard getting good full pics in my ROW. I'm off to a friends birthday bash in the bush in a couple of weeks so hopefully get some good shots then.  MY15

I very nearly got one of these for mine. There are 2 part numbers, one for petrol & one for diesel. The cost difference was about £20 but there is a difference for a reason I was told. I havn't got one yet as I am spending so much on my MG Metro restoration I have run out of spare cash.
Fitting this item gives the front bumper an Evoque look in a way & I planned colour coding the Freelander like I did my Evoque. I probably would paint the cover in Firenze Red along with the side vents & rear tailgate trim finisher (not the chrome but the rest) to set the whole car off!! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
